CAN has joined a number of events and organizations such as the World Health Day event, World Elder Abuse Day event (WEAAD), the National Forum, Age Demands Action (ADA) working with HelpAge International and HelpAge Cambodia in order to safeguard the livelihood of older people
We have also hosted a multitude of meetings for our OPA committees in different provinces, often inviting the Minstry department and provincial department of Social Affair Veterans and Youth Habilitation (MoSVY, PoSVY) to join and listen to the concerns and needs of older people.

CAN has also provided aid to those who do not make enough to make ends meet by helping them sign up for equity cards through IDPoor and allowing them to get support from the government through monthly funds and free healthcare checkups
